Our client is seeking a Permanent Geo-Environmental Consultant to join their ambitious team in the Northwest of the UK. As part of a remediation and environmental consultancy, you will assist with ground investigations and remediation verification work. Your role will encompass site investigations, report preparation, and verification works, contributing to significant projects including remediation earthworks in Barrow in Furness. The position provides the opportunity to work toward chartership and requires a candidate who is self-motivated and capable of both autonomous and team-based work.
- A degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or Geology
- 2-4 years' experience in geo-environmental consultancy or remediation
- Knowledge of contaminated land and geotechnical investigations
- First-class analytical and technical writing skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Full valid UK driving licence
- Understanding of health and safety standards on construction sites
