Permanent Geotechnical Engineer
Our client is seeking a Permanent Geotechnical Engineer to join their dynamic team. This full-time position combines both on-site and office work within a variety of sectors including energy and rail. The successful candidate will conduct and supervise site investigations, analyze soil and rock samples, perform geotechnical assessments, and collaborate on foundation design projects. Recent graduates with an eagerness to learn are encouraged to apply, as the company offers full training and mentoring.
- Experience in site investigation
- Proficiency in soil and rock logging
- Knowledge of geotechnical engineering and engineering geology
- Foundation design skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field
- Full clean UK driving license
- PTS certification is helpful but not necessary
